We are looking for the next exceptional employee-owner to join the team representing the Primex® brand dedicated to designing and manufacturing control panels, engineered systems and SCADA services for municipal and industrial process water applications as a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist.


The Purchasing & Inventory Specialist is responsible for issuing purchase orders generated from the MRP system along with issuing manual orders, making pricing updates, providing order confirmations, kitting of materials for production, expediting parts and working with the shipping department to set up shipments. In general, this role will complete all material transactions and procurement activities in a timely manner and within all quality parameters as defined by the Supply Chain Manager. This position will interact with Engineering, Production and other departments to assist with material needs.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A 2-year degree in business, sourcing or materials management
  • 1-2+ years of purchasing and/or inventory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite products
